Shareholding
EFETnet B.V. is an independent company, owned to 100% by the European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET), an organisation founded in 1999 by Europe’s leading energy companies. With its sole shareholding, EFETnet B.V. ensures that the central infrastructure needed for electronic data-exchange is owned by the industry itself. EFET would welcome other associations and stakeholders active in the energy industry in joining the initiative. The daily management of EFET is carried out by Jan van Aken, Bart Pyke and Paul van Son.
Management
EFETnet B.V. has a lean organisational structure. The Managing Director of EFETnet B.V. is Hugh Brunswick. The Managing Director is advised by the EFET Steering Group on matters related to marketing, communication, legal and finance.
Supervisory Board
A Supervisory Board oversees the management of EFETnet B.V. It is the role of the Supervisory Board to supervise the EFETnet management to ensure that EFETnet is run as a sound non-profit organisation to the benefit of the industry. The Supervisory Board also sees to the non-discriminatory treatment of EFETnet Clients. The Supervisory Board duties are performed by Jan Haizmann .
